Karis was born and bred in South London, England. With her brunette hair, green eyes, fair skin and freckles, Karis portrays a classic beauty.

At the tender age of 18 months, it was discovered that she had mobility problems. She was diagnosed with Congenial Hip Disorder of the left hip and admitted to Westminster Childrens Hospital where she lived and spent the following 12 months undergoing numorous corrective operations and treatment. Under the care of Dr. Ashcroft and a Sortesopeotomy, her condition began to improve and spent the following year as an outpatient until she learnt to walk again. Aged 3 yrs it was advised that Karis take up swimming lessons and ballet to help her regain the strength in her legs and improve her co-ordination. It was here that Karis' life in dance began.......

She went on to attend the Balham School of Dance under the teaching of Miss Jean Shrimpton and at 10yrs old went on to attend The Betty Wivell Academy of Performing Arts in London www.bettywivell.com

At the BWA Karis continued to improve, training in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Jazz gaining her ISTD Intermediate Ballet Award and Major ISTD Modern and Tap Examinations. At the same time Karis attended Drama classes gaining her LAMDA Acting and Speaking of Verse and Prose awards as well as attending Script Reading classes at The Harris Agency, Wembly Park. She was involved in dance festivals, drama competitions, charity events, BWA productions as well as performing in shows at the London Palladium and Her Majestys Theatre, West End.

It was the high standard of training that Karis recieved at the BWA that helped her gain a place to train professionally in 2002 at LONDON STUDIO CENTRE on a 3yr Musical Theatre course.

Karis graduated from LSC in 2005 with a BA HONS in Music Theatre and a LSC Diploma with Distinction.

Since graduation, Karis has been working in the entertainment industry as a professional performer in the UK, Europe and more recently India. She has been involved in stage shows, theatre, plays, fringe, corporate events, music videos, short films and feature films and more recently has started to work as Burlesque Performer ‘Betsy La Bon’ and a voice over artist.

She is currently represented by MORWENNA PRESTON MANAGEMENT and for audio voice work VOCAL POINT.
