So I’ve recently started a new job to fill the gaps between auditions/ castings and shoots and its part of a corporate role play team for a large car manufacturer just outside of London. It’s not the first time I’ve acted for corporate role plays but they’ve always been one off jobs whereas this could potentially be a regular gig. Working full time as a self-employed performer can get pretty lonely as you’re often moving from job to job, so when you join a team of creatives, whether it be a cast on a show or a team on a gig like this, its always pretty cool. What is also great about role play, is that youre continuously learning new scripts and character briefs, which helps keep you on the ball and in practise between castings and auditions. I recommend it to all actors looking for a regular gig to bridge the ‘ever so frequent’ gaps in employment.
what's it all about?
A little blog of my work, alongside new friends & creatives i meet along the way...most probably the best way to see what i'm up to.
